These Terms govern your use of Pricewatcher. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Beta / prototype service
Pricewatcher is provided as an early-access beta prototype. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable or contain errors.
2. Pricing information is indicative
Prices are crowdsourced and/or drawn from third-party feeds, are not real-time, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always confirm the actual price at the point of sale. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on displayed prices.
EV charging prices shown are indicative pay-as-you-go energy rates (pence per kWh, including VAT) as published by charge point operators. They exclude any connection, session, idle or pre-authorisation fees, and network memberships or subscriptions may offer different rates. We do not warrant that any station or charge point is open, available, or in working order. Cost comparisons between fuels (e.g. petrol vs charging) are illustrative estimates based on stated typical-vehicle assumptions, not quotes.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, misleading, unlawful or infringing content.
- Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not misuse location or submission features.
4. User-submitted content
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it to operate and improve the service. You confirm you have the right to submit it.
5. Intellectual property
The Pricewatcher name, branding and software are owned by us or our licensors.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The service is operated by DEXTCLOUD LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11035143).
